The Door of Time, by Vedad Bezergianov

The Door of Time is very patient.  The Key of Time just flies and opens the Door by itself, and then the Blue Time Warf sucks you and you will have to pass the pirates of Poricious Islands, who live for dodo birds and gold and who are very scary.  Sometimes they can capture humans and put them in the ship jail, so you have to be very careful about them.  Then the European settlers who hunt Tasmanian tigers and sometimes they sell their fur to people.  The Tasmanian tigers looked scary but they weren't.  But the European settlers thought they were scary so they killed them to extinction.  When you are there, tell the settlers, "hey, they just look scary, but they aren't, so don't kill them."

And then you will have to pass the Zoo of Wonder.  There are alive creatures from now and creatures from long time ago like 70 hundred years ago.  You will see there Tasmanian tigers, dodo birds, mammoths, sabers, golden toads, gold lock pigeons, acondgoses, and an extinct lemur from Madagascar called Decalodopus. There are giraffes, and elephants, and lions, and jaguars, and all the creatures from the past and now, and then you will see the biggest fountain in the world.  But it is too small to fit for dinosaurs, and dinosaurs are too scary.  You have to pass all those levels, scary or not, and dangerous or not, you will still have to pass.  If you pass all of them, the Blue Time Warf will suck you back to where you belong.
